about

Traditional Dark was released in 2015 by UK based singer/songwriter Jinder, and was his first independently released album since 2006’s ‘I’m Alive’, following an eight year stint with major labels Sony BMG and Universal.

Self produced, this dark and visceral album was recorded to tape in an abandoned Westcountry cottage with the assistance of drummer and percussionist Ryan Halsey over the space of a week in winter 2014. Five years later, Jinder returned to the tapes to remix and remaster the album, releasing an extended ‘Director’s Cut’ edition in 2019.
